Custom Door Signs

Every office building needs to have door signs. Not just because it’s required by the Americans with Disability Act but also for general wayfinding.

It can be quite annoying when you are new to a location and can’t find what you are looking for.

Examples of Custom Office Door Signs

We have done many projects that include creating customized door signs.

In this project for Georgia State University’s TV Production department, we created several different types of door signs. The restroom sign and the department door sign are examples of signs that are static. The other two room signs are signs that can be updated; they have a room number and that room number in braille but the designation of that room isn’t required to be in braille because it frequently changes.

This sign for Last Mile Staffing is an example of a more professional, cleaner looking door sign that can still be updated. This one however requires a new sign panel to be made instead of simply slipping in a new piece of paper like for GSU. These types of signs are good for buildings that rent out office space as their tenants are not as seasonal.

This custom conference room sign is an example of how you can customize a sign by adding a moving part. When the room is in use, you can slide a panel that then designates that the room is in use. When not in use, the panel can be returned to it’s original position.
